Alex’s bees live in two locations, one in Coulsdon and one near Lingfield. The hives in Coulsdon find their forage from the surrounding gardens and trees. The bees in Lingfield forage on a 110 acre arable farm which is farmed in a nature sensitive way with plenty of hedgerows and copses.

The Coulsdon hives in Summer

These are the Coulsdon hives in the height of summer this year.

This copse is where the Lingfield bees live.

This Summer, the Lingfield hives were breeding hives, but next Spring they will be taking full advantage of the Oilseed Rape that is planted now for overwintering. That honey should be available towards the end of April 2023.
